CHAMPIONSHIP
STEPHEN Ireland has had his short-term contract at Bolton cancelled.
The former Republic of Ireland international midfielder, 32, arrived at the Championship club in October, but did not kick a ball for the first team.
A club statement read: “The decision has now been taken between himself and the club to bring his deal to an end.
“All at BWFC would like to wish Stephen all the best with his future endeavours.”
