BRENTFORD have pulled off a transfer coup by signing highly-rated Josh Dasilva from Arsenal after the 19-year-old turned down a new deal with the Gunners.
The England Under-20 international, whose only three games for Arsenal came in last year’s Carabao Cup, had been at the Emirates club since he was eight. They will receive compensation. The midfielder has signed a four-year deal with a one-year extension option.
Brentford boss Dean Smith said: “He is a player who fits us well and has huge potential. He is an excellent player with a great personality.”
