SAM Slocombe’s emergency loan move to Lincoln City will become a season-long arrangement following an injury to goalkeeper Josh Vickers.
The 30-year-old Bristol Rovers stopper started the season as the Pirates’ No.1, but has fallen out of favour and joined Lincoln after Vickers fell victim to injury again, following the resurfacing of a quadriceps problem, with boss Danny Cowley unsure how long he will be out for.
“We are hoping it is not as bad as first feared”, said Cowley. “We are, though, delighted to bring Sam in.”
