TEENAGE striker Connor Simpson is ready to meet the challenge of developing into a Championship player head on after joining Preston from Hartlepool.
The 17-year-old has joined the Lilywhites for an undisclosed fee from National League Pools, who are currently scrapping to raise £200,000 by January 25 to stave off the threat of administration.
