LEE Frecklington has resigned for Lincoln from Rotherham, having left the club almost ten years ago.
The 32-year-old has returned to the Imps, who he left to join Peterborough in 2009, but Mansfield boss Steve Evans claims the midfielder could have been on his way to Field Mill.
