NORWICH’s new sporting director Stuart Webber is expecting a free rein in his new role after deciding to leave Huddersfield.
Webber was Town’s head of football operations, and one of his first jobs at City will be the appointment of a new head coach, with Alan Irvine currently caretaker boss.
Webber said: “The opportunity to come to a club the size of Norwich was something which I couldn’t turn down.
“Having the remit to massively affect the football department, from the first team right down to the academy, makes it an exciting challenge.”
