JOEL Asoro’s attitude has impressed manager Chris Coleman in his breakthrough season at Sunderland.
The 18-year-old, from the Black Cats academy, has made almost 20 appearances and netted the winner in their 1-0 defeat of Hull last month.
Coleman praised the Swedish forward for his fearless approach as Asoro’s run helped complete a dramatic comeback from 3-0 down to 3-3 at Bristol City last weekend. He said: “You need fearlessness and Joel has got a really good attitude.
“He’s ready for games whether we play him wide or down the middle.”
