RUUD van Nistelrooy has thrown his hat into the ring for the vacant Coventry job – whilst odds on outgoing England boss Lee Carsley have also been slashed.
The Sky Blues are on the hunt for a new head coach following the controversial sacking of Mark Robins.
Chair man Doug King revealed that former Chelsea and England midfielder Frank Lampard has applied for the post and the ex-Derby and Everton boss is currently the favourite with bookies.
