UPBEAT WALSALL boss Mat Sadler saluted his players after they gave LEICESTER CITY a real scare in the third round.
The League Two high-fliers went toeto-toe with their topflight opponents and had chances to win the game in the 90 minutes, notably through Charlie Lakin and Albert Adomah, the latter in his 700th career club match.
However, the game remained goalless and it was the Premier League Foxes who triumphed 3-0 on penalties thanks to a hat-trick of saves from keeper Danny Ward.
