CHALLENGE: Steve Bruce

I DON’T know Steve Bruce, so I’m not knocking him personally. But how much does he actually know about League One?
I’m sure he did a bit of research before taking the Blackpool job, maybe watched their players on Wyscout and saw footage of recent performances. He’ll have spoken to friends in the game about what to expect. But you can’t understand characters from a Wyscout video. You can’t understand what it was about those players that got Neil Critchley the sack.
