BACK in March, Chelsea were one of ten Premier League clubs who reportedly shot down a proposal to give EFL clubs an extra £836m over three years.
According to insiders, they felt it was ‘unpalatable’ and ‘unworkable’ to fund rival businesses in the same industry.
