MORECAMBE’S Jamie Stott says the Shrimps’ new-look dressing room couldn’t care less about the ‘negative energy’ engulfing the club.
Beset by financial issues for the best part of two years, Morecambe spent much of last season under a transfer embargo due to an unpaid tax bill and in April were docked three points for failing to pay wages on time.
Cash-strapped owner Jason Whittingham is attempting to sell up but has yet to secure a buyer, leaving the Lancastrian side as hot favourites for relegation from League Two.
