Martin O’Neill says he is ‘extremely proud’ to have been voted in as the new chairman of the League Managers Association (LMA).
O’Neill was one of eight LMA members from both the men’s and women’s game who stood for election. The 72-yearold, who won the European Cup twice as a player with Nottingham Forest, will succeed Howard Wilkinson at the LMA Annual Awards on May 21.
