MIDDLESBROUGH boss Michael Carrick says his players will learn lessons from their Carabao Cup semi-final disappointment against Chelsea.
Ahead 1-0 from the first leg courtesy of Hayden Hackney’s goal at the Riverside, Boro travelled south hoping to knock out their Premier League opponents.
However, Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues turned in a ruthless performance to run out 6-1 winners on Tuesday night, 6-2 on aggregate.
