Fleetwood 1-1 Accrington: Grayson backs Morris after sub sees late pen saved

FLEETWOOD manager Simon Grayson refused to point the finger at Josh Morris after the sub missed a late penalty in an entertaining home draw against Accrington.

Morris saw his spotkick saved by Nathan Baxter late on after Adam Phillips’ effort was cancelled out by Wes Burns.
“Josh is a bit down, but we’ll pick him up and go again,” said Grayson.
“These things do happen of course, it’s only human nature. You score penalties and you miss them. We’d love to have seen it go in, but it’s just one of those things.”
