Acid Test Awaits Kylian Mbappe

The hype around the newest superstar at Real Madrid is slowly settling for the fans with Real Madrid tickets.

After going three games goal-less in La Liga, Mbappe came out with a stellar performance to score a brace in the next fixture and is now on an upward trajectory.

As he debuted in a La liga game, Spanish and French media were quite critical of his performance, stating that he didn’t fit in.

While the fans of Real Madrid tickets understand this sentiment, they also believe it is still too early to judge Mbappe.

They still have the visions of Eden Hazard in mind.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Mbappe’s long-loving idol, has weighed in on his prospects at Real Madrid on his YouTube Channel.

Ronaldo Backs Mbappe for a Ballon D’Or

Cristiano Ronaldo has backed Kylian Mbappé to succeed at Real Madrid and tipped the France international to win a Ballon d’Or in the near future.

On his YouTube channel, Ronaldo said Mbappé would succeed in Madrid, which he labeled the “best club ever.”

“I think [Mbappé] will do well. The structure of the club … it’s nice, it’s good,” Ronaldo said.

“They have a great coach and the president, Florentino [Pérez], who has been there many, many years. It won’t be a big problem because of his talent. Mbappé can be the next golden ball [Ballon d’Or] winner. Him, [Erling] Haaland, [Jude] Bellingham, Lamine [Yamal].

“Madrid is the kind of team that doesn’t rush under pressure. People say they’re lucky in the Champions [League]. No, they are not lucky. They’re prepared for this kind of moment. The Bernabéu has that different aura.

“Now, if you say that Madrid is going to be better or not, we don’t know. Mbappé is there now, I think Madrid will keep strong, but I don’t know if they will be better than last year. Only God knows.”

Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said they are still adapting to life with Mbappé, who showed improvement with two goals against Real Betis before the international break.

Madrid isn’t PSG

While he prepped Mbappe to win the best player award, he was also critical of the performance levels and pressure at Real Madrid, in contrast to PSG.

Loyal fans with Real Madrid tickets also understand what Ronaldo is speaking about, stressing that playing for Madrid comes with multiple extra pressure levels.

“Real Madrid are not PSG, that I can tell you,” he said while speaking about how different will be Mbappe’s experience in Spain.“There is a different environment, but I believe he will do well,” he explained.

Ronaldo, who played with Los Blancos for nine seasons and won four Champions League with them, had previously said on his YouTube channel that Madrid is the “best club ever” and that they have a different “aura” when it comes to big matches, especially in the Champions League.

In that same video, he also said that he expects Mbappe to adapt well at Madrid, which has a “nice” structure. “They have a great coach and the president, Florentino [Pérez], who has been there many, many years. I think it won’t be a big problem because of his talent,” he explained.

Stern Message from Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti has warned Kylian Mbappe and Endrick about the standards expected each time they put on a Real Madrid shirt.

Mbappe finally arrived in the Spanish capital this summer on a blockbuster free transfer, while Endrick’s wait to join Madrid ended after he turned 18 in July.

The pair have already sampled their first taste of silverware as Madrid players with success in the Super Cup against Atalanta. However, dropped points in two of the club’s first four La Liga games have offered a stark reminder that continued success will not be a stroll in the park.

Real Betis were seen off 2-0 in the final game before the international break – Mbappe opened his La Liga goal account in the process with a brace – and Madrid will focus on catching rivals Barcelona, who have won four matches out of four under new boss Hansi Flick when club football resumes.

In the meantime, Ancelotti, who has sanctioned the shock appointment of Stockport County assistant coach Andy Mangan in the last few days, has been speaking of what’s required of every single Real Madrid player – including Mbappe and Endrick, whom he says are “adapting very well” to their new environment.

“Real Madrid have very high standards because it’s the biggest club in the world,” the Italian said at a conference held in Mexico.

“It has the greatest players. You have to be able to bring their quality to the service of the club. That’s what we try to do every year. This year, the new players like Kylian and Endrick are adapting very well. We’re going to have a great season competing in all competitions.

“Winning is very complicated, but our duty is to compete in every game as always at this club. Never give up and compete until the end. That’s what you have to do when you put on that shirt.”

Endrick is also off the goalscoring mark in Madrid, scoring the third goal of a 3-0 win over Real Valladolid, but has been restricted to just nine first-team minutes by Ancelotti so far – a sign of the quality at the disposal of the five-time Champions League winning coach.

Those with Real Madrid tickets know that retaining the La Liga title will be a tougher challenge this year, especially given the level at which Barcelona is playing under new coach Hansi Flick.

The Barcelona v Madrid clash will be a key decider in this year’s league title run and will be the biggest stage for Mbappe to shine.

But it will not be easy, as Real Madrid has over a month to go before the fixture. Mbappe will need to keep up his positive performance from the last league game and carry the momentum through to establish himself in Spain.

Only then will the fans with Real Madrid tickets start to worship him as blooming great.
