JACK Payne kept his nerve to net a 95th-minute penalty as Crawley stunned second-placed Notts County in an eventful match at Meadow Lane. The Reds led through Jimmy Smith, but County were level when Jon Stead netted from the penalty spot after the break.
Notts’ Matty Vir tue was sent off for a second bookable offence on 90 minutes and it got worse when goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons was dismissed three minutes later after lashing out at Smith. Payne scored from the resulting penalty to give Harry Kewell’s men a surprise three points.
