First game you watched live?
Bristol City v Liverpool at Ashton Gate, a 3-3 draw. It was the team of Ian Rush, Jan Molby Kenny Dalglish, all those big names. It must have been a pre-season friendly or something.
I went with my dad, who was a Liverpool fan growing up, and that’s how I became a Liverpool fan myself.
It’s funny the things you remember - my dad had this big John Motson coat on and some geezer who was smoking a big cigar behind us burned a hole in it!
