Viv Solomon-Otabor has put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half year deal with Birmingham City.
The midfielder broke into the first team this season and has subsequently gone on to make 16 appearances for the Blues.
He has found the net once this season when he scored a superb solo goal in the 5-2 victory at Fulham in November.
Solomon-Otabo was born in London and came through the academy at Crystal Palace but left the South London club without making a first team appearance.
The 20-year-old’s original contract at Birmingham was due to expire at the end of this season but he will now stay at St Andrews until at least 2019.
Birmingham are currently sitting in 8th place in the Championship and face Derby County on Saturday.
