The full draw for round one of the 2015/16 Capital One Cup was made this morning, with a selection of tasty clashes for football fans to look forward to come August.
Following short stints in the Vanarama Conference both Barnet and Bristol Rovers face tantalising ties upon their Football League return.
The Bees will make the short journey across London to face Millwall while the Gas will host Championship side and 2011 competition winners Birmingham City.
After journeys to Old Trafford, the Emirates and Anfield last season the three relegated Premier League sides have been brought back to reality with a bump.
There are League Two trips for QPR and Hull City, with Chris Ramsey’s R’s heading to the south coast and Yeovil Town with Steve Bruce’s Tigers travelling to Lancashire to take on Accrington Stanley. Sean Dyche’s Burnley have been matched up away to Port Vale.
East meets West in a Midlands derby between Nottingham Forest and Walsall, and there are two all-Yorkshire affairs as Doncaster Rovers host Leeds United and York City take on Bradford City.
Other notable ties include Derby County’s trip to League Two Portsmouth, Gareth Ainsworth’s Wycombe Wanderers hosting Fulham and League Two AFC Wimbledon‘s clash away to Cardiff City.
