League One side Burton Albion have completed the signing of midfiedler Stephen Quinn on a short term contract.
The Irish midfielder, who was a free agent after leaving Reading this summer, will stay at the Pirelli Stadium until January.
The 32-year-old, who has represented the Irish national side, is believed to have been training with the League One side for a number of weeks.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Quinn said, “I had time off over the summer to get the body right, and get that buzz and love for the game back.
“I contacted the club to see if I could get fit and train, and I’ve done well enough in training that the manager sees something in me still, and he’s offered me the deal.”
