There was a sense of inevitability on Thursday when Forest Green Rovers dismissed Troy Deeney.
Deeney had said that he let his emotions take over when he spoke candidly about his players last weekend.
He said they were hiding, scared, used to losing, sulkers and blamers. He really told it as he saw it.
