winger Ben Gladwin has linked up with for the third time in his career, and signed a loan deal until the end of the season.

Gladwin, 24, initially joined the in November 2013 from non-league side Marlow, before going on to produce some stunning form in 2015 that helped Swindon reach the and attract the interest of QPR.

The move to London hasn’t really worked out so far for the pacy winger, and after being back at the County Ground for a short loan spell last year, he is in Wilthsire again this season after making just six appearances for the R’s this campaign.

Speaking to Swindon’s official website, Gladwin said: “It has been in the pipeline for a few weeks and I’ve known that I’ve wanted to get out and play.

“For me, the best place to come would always be here so we’ve known for a little while but it was just a case of getting it done.

“It was a very easy decision. It is a comfortable environment and obviously I know all the management and the way the club plays is important for me.

“I’ve got great memories here so it was very easy for me to come back.”

During his first, and most productive spell at Swindon, Gladwin produced some scintillating form, including eight goals in eight games towards the end of the 2014/15 season.

That kind of form helped Swindon get over the line, into the play-offs, and within touching distance of the , but the winger has been brought to the club with the Robins now at the other end of the table.

Nevertheless, despite Swindon struggling in 19th in League One, Gladwin is confident things will soon start improving, and said: “If we win a few games then you’ll see us rise up the table.

“The group of players here boasts so much talent and for whatever reason at the moment it is not quite working but, having spoken to people, I don’t think it is missing too much”.
