SKIPPER JOE SO GLAD TO STAY ON

PLYMOUTH Argyle captain Joe Edwards says it is ‘really special’ to have extended his contract with the club until 2026.
The 33-year-old, who can operate at full-back or in midfield, joined the Pilgrims in 2019 and has since gone on to make more than 200 appearances in all competitions.
Edwards has helped Plymouth climb from League Two to the Championship and scored the winner last weekend in the 3-2 home success against Sunderland that gave Wayne Rooney his first win as manager.
