JUBILANT Preston North End boss Paul Heckingbottom admitted he’d never seen anything like it after his side came out on top in the longest penalty shoot-out in Carabao Cup history.
After the tie against Premier League Fulham finished deadlocked at one-apiece, it was Preston who – eventually ran out 16-15 winners on spot-kicks.
