READING fans have praised the FA for recognising the “emotional circumstances” that led to the abandonment of their game against Port Vale in January.
The League One fixture was halted in the 16th minute when hundreds of supporters invaded the pitch to protest against unpopular owner Dai Yongge’s disastrous seven-year reign.
Under league rules, Reading could have been docked points for the large-scale invasion.
