PLYMOUTH boss Wayne Rooney says in-demand Morgan Whittaker is ready to face Sheffield Wednesday this afternoon.
The 23-year-old winger was the subject of a rejected £7m bid from Scottish giants Rangers this week - an offer Rooney described as “insulting”.
“What I’m seeing with Morgan is a really happy player,” said Rooney, who also saw the Pilgrims spurn an offer for £3m-rated goalkeeper Michael Cooper on the eve of the new campaign.
