LUTON Town were once known as the Championship’s ultimate pragmatists, their unlikely rise to the Premier League founded on organisation, hard work and direct football.
Not any more. Midway through last season, manager Rob Edwards realised that sitting off and relying on counter attacks wasn’t cutting the mustard.
Overnight, the Hatters were transformed into a high-intensity, high-tempo attacking juggernaut who put four past Brighton and Newcastle, scored three against Arsenal and confounded everyone who tipped them to go down with a whimper.
