Sacked Rotherham boss Matt Taylor has emerged as a strong contender for the vacant Bristol Rovers job.
Taylor, 41, was dismissed by the Millers on Monday after a 5-0 defeat to Watford left them 22nd in the Championship. He spent just over a year at the helm and won ten of his 55 games in all competitions.
Prior to joining Rotherham, he enjoyed considerable success in four years at Exeter, guiding the Grecians to promotion from League Two in 2021-22.
