Northampton Town starlet Josh Tomlinson says signing his first professional contract was ‘a very special moment’.
Tomlinson became the club’s youngest-ever player when he made his debut aged only 15 last season and he was just 16 years and 321 days when he scored against Arsenal Under-21s in the Papa Johns Trophy in October. It made him the youngest goalscorer in the club’s history.
The 17-year-old defender is grateful for all the support he has had on his footballing journey with the Cobblers. He has penned a ‘long term’ deal with the club.
