Time is starting to run out for Sam Cosgrove. He needs goals and he needs them fast.
The two he got in quarter of an hour to win the game against Derby on his debut for Plymouth two weeks ago are a start.
He’d only got two goals in a year before that and Cosgrove knows it’s not good enough.
A terrific scoring record of 31 Scottish goals in 79 league games for Aberdeen, below, earned Cosgrove a £2m move to Birmingham City and a three-and-a-half year contract in January last year.
