WHEN Manchester City set off to play at Peterborough and Chelsea prepared to play at Luton, there were few who expected an ultimate shock. Indeed, both games ended with the expected winner.
However, the Championship can be heartened by the scorelines. An aggregate 2-5 outcome is a creditable return for our country’s second league. Many of the top-flight clubs would struggle to produce that return.
