DARRELL Clarke has been impressed with Tom Conlon since arriving at Port Vale.
The 25-year-old midfielder scored a goal-ofthe-season contender in the midweek win over Barrow, netting with a stunning volley from near the centre circle which flew over goalkeeper Joel Dixon.
“It was a real special moment, seeing that goal,” Clarke said. “Tom has that unbelievable skill and ability, it’s not luck.
“He is a great lad. I can’t speak highly enough of him since I have come into the building.”
