TRANMERE Rovers manager Keith Hill is on a mission to turn the Championship dream he harboured at Rochdale into reality at Prenton Park.
Hill, 51, spent over a decade at Spotland across two spells and engineered a root-andbranch rebuild that yielded the club’s first promotion in 41 years in 2010 – and then did it again four years later.
But despite notching the club’s highest-ever finish of eighth in League One, budget restrictions always precluded a promotion push.
