PAUL Tisdale had “nothing but praise” for his striker Sam Nicholson after his brace saw Bristol Rovers pick up their first league win under their new manager.
Nicholson and strike partner Brandon Hanlan both scored two to set Rovers on their way to three points.
And Tisdale praised Nicholson for shutting up his critics.
