MICHAEL Appleton was impressed with the character of his Lincoln City side as they responded positively to trailing at the break to draw at Shrewsbury Town.
Ollie Norburn fired the hosts ahead from the spot, but Lincoln equalised three minutes after the restart, also from a penalty, as Tyler Walker kept his cool to score his 13th league goal of the season.
