HAVING endured the worst season of his career last term, Plymouth defender Scott Wootton insists he is revelling in his new role as part of a back three.
The former Manchester United man picked up a thigh injury against Charlton at the start of last season and managed just nine League One appearances as the Pilgrims were relegated to the fourth tier.
Under new boss Ryan Lowe though, fully-fit Wootton is flourishing in the Plymouth defence and the 28-year-old is focused on contributing to his side’s push up the League Two table.
