ALFIE Beestin popped up in stoppage time to rescue a point for Doncaster – and dent Scunthorpe’s promotion hopes.
Tom Hopper had given fourth-placed Scunthorpe the lead in the third minute, capitalising on a blunder by Donny keeper Ian Lawlor.
It looked as though that would be enough for the Iron to claim maximum points, but Beestin headed home in the sixth minute of added time to extend Donny’s unbeaten league run to eight matches.
Rotherham climbed into the play-off spots with a 2-0 home win against faltering Bradford City.
