KEVIN HODGES has played more times for Plymouth Argyle than anyone else but his finest season in those 530 league appearances came helping the club to promotion in 1985-86.
Hodges overcame the tragedy of losing his father to play in all 46 league games, finishing leading scorer with 16 goals and walking away with the Player of the Year award.
Described by boss Dave Smith as a manager’s dream, he is Arygle through and through after spending two seasons as manager and now runs their youth team.
