RUSSELL Slade won his first game in charge of Grimsby Town as they beat play-off chasing Cambridge United after a battling performance at Blundell Park.
The Grimsby job is Slade’s third managerial position this season, having starting with League One side Charlton before being sacked, followed by a short spell at Coventry City, where he was also sacked, before now taking the reigns at the Lincolnshire club.
